What we take and what we don't
We collect household and light general junk. If you are not sure about an item, send us a photo on WhatsApp.
Yes, we take
- General household junk, bags and boxes
- Sofas, armchairs and sofa beds
- Beds, bed frames and mattresses
- Wardrobes, chests of drawers, tables and chairs
- Fridges and freezers (surcharge for degassing)
- Washing machines, dishwashers and cookers
- TVs, monitors and small electricals
- Garden waste, branches and old garden furniture
- Loft, garage and shed clutter
- Gym equipment and treadmills
- Office desks, chairs and filing cabinets from small offices
No, we don't take
- Asbestos, or anything that might contain it
- Clinical waste, needles or sharps
- Chemicals, solvents and pesticides
- Oil, fuel and car batteries
- Gas bottles and canisters
- Explosives, fireworks or ammunition
- Tyres in bulk
- Anything else hazardous
Items with extra rules
- Fridges and freezers must be degassed under WEEE rules, so they carry a surcharge of £36.
- Sofas, armchairs and mattresses are upholstered, so they are handled under persistent organic pollutant (POPs) rules and not taken to ordinary landfill.
- Paint tins and single tyres are only collected by arrangement. Ask us first.
- Hot tubs and pianos need a quick call before we can confirm a price.
